Queen  Jadeyn Perin

Jadeyn is the daughter of Erica & Austin Kasper of Enterprise, Oregon.

Queen Jadeyn Perin

Howdy Rodeo Fans,

YEEHAW! She has her boots on and is ready to represent the western way of life and the sport of rodeo. This young lady may have gotten two different broken bones from her love of horses, but this hasn’t stopped her from achieving her dreams! Jadeyn Perin is a 17 year old Junior attending Joseph Charter High School. She resides on the outskirts of Enterprise, Oregon with her parents, Austin and Erica Kasper, little brother Jace, and baby sister Kamdyn. To enjoy all her extracurricular activities, one must have a support group and Jadeyn is very blessed to have several loving grandparents: Ryan Perin, Diane Duncan, Deena Perin, Lori Kasper and her late Grandpa Kevin Kasper.

The love and passion Jadeyn has for animals started before she could walk by watching her mom carry Sponsor flags for local Oregon rodeos, perform on a rodeo drill team and barrel races, and by watching her grandpa, Ryan, compete in ACTRA Team Roping.  Jadeyn started competing at an early age and joined 4-H in the fourth grade. That’s when she started showing her horse and market lambs! Jadeyn has many equine and lamb related accomplishments. Now 7 years later, she is still participating in this great youth program and being able to serve as the 2022 4-H Court Ambassador which meant the world to her! This gave her the opportunity to serve in the community and give back to all, as well as offering community service each and every day to help promote and keep the program running. Jadeyn has been able to compete at both State and National levels in 4-H, including going to Kentucky in November of 2022 representing the State of Oregon 4-H Horse Hippology Team.

Jadeyn is also active in the FFA chapter. In the summer of 2022, she had the honor of showing a Black Angus heifer as a breeding project at the Wallowa County Fair. She hopes she will be able to raise her own herd. In 2023 Jadeyn was the Princess for Eastern Oregon Livestock Show. This made her want to continue her love and journey as a rodeo  royalty ambassador and teach people more about the great sport of rodeo. Jadeyn is currently representing Joseph High School as an athlete on the Volleyball team, Basketball team, and is a member of FCCLA. Jadeyn’s future goals are to attend college and start becoming a Traveling Registered Nurse or pursue a degree in Equine Science. Her most enjoyable place to be is on the back of her horse, either competing in the show ring, junior rodeos, or in the mountains helping family gather and work cows. When Jadeyn is not around her animals you can find her enjoying fishing, camping or anything outdoors.

“I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as this year’s 2024 Queen of the Asotin County Fair and Hells Canyon Rodeo. I’m truly honored to have the opportunity to represent an association that celebrates the western way of life and the sport of rodeo. -Jadeyn”

She is looking forward to this experience, gaining many new memories, and meeting new people from all over while she represents the great sport of rodeo. Her noble trusty steeds following her rodeo court journey this year are Tweeter and Brando. Jadeyn and her equine partners are excited and can’t wait to meet you at the Asotin County Fair and Hells Canyon Rodeo!

Happy Trails!
